Refund policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
Try the demo. If you buy and it is not for you, write within fourteen days and we refund you in full.
The short version
Try the demo first. If you buy anyway and the plugin is not what you wanted, write to support@kontrastaudio.com within fourteen days of your purchase and we refund you in full. You do not have to justify it.
Why the demo comes first
The demo runs the full engine, all modes and all presets, with no account required. It is the honest way to find out whether the software works in your DAW, on your machine, with your material. Five minutes with it prevents most refunds.
How to ask
Email support@kontrastaudio.com from the address you used at checkout, with your order number or serial. A sentence about what went wrong is welcome — it is how the product gets better — but it is not a condition.
What happens next
We confirm by email, deactivate the serial, and send the refund through Stripe to the card or account you paid with. Stripe usually returns the money within five to ten working days, depending on your bank. We refund the full amount, including VAT.
When we would say no
- After fourteen days, unless something is actually broken — in which case see below, and your statutory rights apply with no deadline of ours.
- Repeated refunds of the same product by the same person, which is not what this policy is for.
- Chargebacks opened without contacting us first: we would much rather solve it directly.
If something is broken
A refund window is not a warranty period. If the software does not do what the product page says, tell us whenever you find out: we fix it or refund you, and that right is not limited to fourteen days.
Your legal right to withdraw
EU law gives consumers fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase, but for digital content delivered immediately that right ends once delivery starts with your consent — which is what happens at our checkout. This policy is our own promise, given freely on top of the law, and it does not reduce any statutory right you have. The detail is in the terms.
